New Neighborhoods is a new compilation from Freedom to Spend that aims to raise money for the advocacy group ANHD (Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development), which focuses on promoting affordable housing measures and fighting for equitable neighborhoods in New York City.

Artists who have contributed to the compilation include Roberto Carlos Lange (aka Helado Negro), Jefre-Cantu Ledesma, Space Afrika, Todd Barton, Felicia Atkinson, Ka Baird, CV & JAB, Lieven Martens, Nailah Hunter, and more. The full compilation is out October 2; check out a trailer for it below.

New Neighborhoods is, in part, an homage to Oregon musician Ernest Hood, whose proto-ambient work Neighborhoods was reissued last year, decades after its 1975 release.
