Abdul-Razak Zachariah


Abdul-Razak Zachariah (he/him) is a 2022 summer intern at ANHD and a Harvard Graduate School of Design Community Service Fellow. As an intern, he specifically supports ANHD's Land Use Justice and capacity building work by providing rezoning technical assistance to member organizations and developing trainings for members to utilize the city’s new Equitable Development Data Tool. Originally from West Haven, CT, Abdul has previous experience as a youth worker in New Haven, CT and a participatory researcher with youth in Cambridge, MA. Abdul holds a master's degree in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Yale University. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in urban planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design with a focus in housing, community development, and participatory planning practice. Aside from thinking about youth voice, Black arts, and reparative justice in cities, Abdul thinks a lot about comic books, making playlists, and apple cider donuts.
