New York City has established BUILD IT BACK to help New Yorkers impacted by Sandy rebuild or repair their homes or to be reimbursed for repairs made. Community residents should register with BUILD IT BACK to see if they're eligible for assistance if they:
- Own or live in a residence in NYC that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy
- Are US citizens or have qualified immigration status
