Overview
ANHD’s annual Fight Forward event series builds power across NYC’s housing and economic development actors. Member events, In-Community conversations, and a marquee networking night convene ANHD community members for urgent and timely conversations that propel our community forward.
ANHD’s Fight Forward 2026 event series will provide in-person spaces to have timely, thought-provoking conversations, connect with others in the movement, and celebrate our collective power and resilience.
In 2025, the series brought together 340+ partners and attendees from the community development, financial, academic, and nonprofit sectors for four pressing conversations. Convenings sparked new conversations on deep affordability, small business resilience, and community-led growth have seeded new meetings and program operations across NYC. From CUNY Graduate Center in midtown Manhattan, to Manny Cantor in Chinatown, to Bronx Music Hall managed by ANHD member WHEDco in the Bronx, to BRIC creative media center in downtown Brooklyn, our events are hosted in and with the community members ANHD serves.
