Zara Afridi (She/Her/They) is ANHD’s Program Coordinator, Leadership & Training. Zara brings a track record of designing and delivering high-impact programs across the nonprofit and social impact sectors. In her current role, she leads the design and implementation of capacity-building initiatives, including the Affordable Housing Institute and the Community Development Graduate Fellowship. Zara’s work focuses on strengthening organizational effectiveness and advancing equitable community development.

Zara holds a Master of Public Administration in Policy Analysis and Evaluation and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish from Baruch College. Zara is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In her free time, Zara is an avid record collector, enjoys live music, crafting, and hanging out with her cat.
