Annual Conference

ANHD began hosting our Annual Community Development Conference in 2011, recognizing the need for a space where key players in the community development field could come together, and discuss and listen to timely affordable housing and economic development matters in New York City.

The conference has proven highly successful—annually engaging 400+ local non-profit and Community Development Corporation members, mission-driven developers, government officials, bank and financial institution representatives, and other allies to discuss issues, including speculation, residential and small business displacement challenges, public-private partnerships, the Community Reinvestment Act, and equitable economic development. It is a day designed to challenge participants to think about their work in new ways, and to meet new colleagues.
