Campaign Organizer

Balanda Joachim (she/her) is ANHD's Campagin Organizer. She is responsible for facilitating and coordinating Right to a Roof coalition and USBnyc. Balanda supports both groups by helping them develop strong policies that will secure affordable house for all tenants in nyc and local businesses in our communites. Prior to joining ANHD, Balanda organized tenants in southwest Brooklyn, with a background in organizing fast food workers, and political campaigns. Balanda is a Flatbush native where she spends her free time gardening and exploring the rockaways.
