Jonathan Furlong
Affordable Housing Institute Training Coordinator

Jonathan Furlong (he/him) is ANHD’s Affordable Housing Institute Training Coordinator. Jon has been working in the affordable housing development field for the past 10-plus years. He was the Director of Organizing at Housing Conservation Coordinators from 2016 to 2020 and worked to lead local housing preservation campaigns in Hell’s Kitchen as well as build the base of the West Side Neighborhood Alliance, a tenant group affiliated with HCC. In his previous role at ANHD, Jon was responsible for providing assistance and support to neighborhood-based non-profit organizations working on proposed re-zonings. He earned a master’s degree from Hunter College in Urban Affairs after which he worked as a labor organizer for the Service Employee’s International Union, Habitat for Humanity, Housing Here and Now, and the Pratt Area Community Council.
