Housing Development and Preservation Policy Associate

Sonali Govind (she/her) serves as ANHD’s Housing Development and Preservation Policy Associate. Prior to joining ANHD, she amassed diverse experience across non-profits, government agencies, and the private sector, focusing on urban planning and housing issues. Notably, Sonali worked with NYCHA residents during the planning process of the RAD/PACT program to preserve public housing in NYC. Her prior roles also include contributions to the New York State Housing Finance Agency and a boutique investment bank, where she specialized in issuing and underwriting bonds for multi-family and single-family housing. She is also passionate about sustainability and contributed to dune restoration efforts in the Rockaways. Sonali holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy with a concentration in sustainability and affordable housing development.
