Building Equitable Communities: Navigating the Current Political Climate in Community Development

On Friday, February 21st at 2pm, ANHD partners with the Empowered Block to hold a two-hour workshop entitled, “Building Equitable Communities: Navigating the Current Political Climate in Community Development.” This is a great workshop opportunity for entry and mid-level staff, and we especially hope to see Fellowship alumni in the room. We will talk about our experiences working in community development amidst the current political climate and what that means for our work.

We will also discuss community development policies at a local, state, and national scale and the anticipated impacts to how we navigate our work, our funders, and the communities we serve. Come prepared to participate in engaging conversations and explore how we can continue building equitable communities.
