What Happens When You Have to Take a Tenant to Court & How to Avoid It

Jenny Laurie, Executive Director of Housing Court Answers, will present their valuable program services for unrepresented tenants, and walk us through the various steps associated with different aspects of housing court, with a special focus for ANHD member organizations and owners of affordable housing. This important training will also describe Housing Court procedures, eviction prevention programs and applicable housing law. Housing Court Answers provides information tables in the city's Housing Courts and a hot line for callers with information about housing law, rent arrears assistance, and homeless prevention guidance.
