Local Law 31 Compliance — How LL31 Differs from Existing NYC Lead Laws

ANHD’s Affordable Housing Institute is partnering with Cooper Square Committee and New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development to offer an info session that will help attendees prepare for compliance with LL31 testing requirements. Throughout this session, participants will gain an understanding of:

• What lead/lead-based paint is and why it is dangerous
• What local law 31 is and what it requires
• What the landlord's/property manager's role is
• What resources are available for landlords/property managers
• What are the penalties for non-compliance with LL31
