Join us on June 25th, 11 AM - 1 PM, for this online workshop where Christopher Casey will provide participants with an essential overview of land use in New York City while exploring its significance, its impacts, and the harms it can cause to various communities. Attendees will gain insights into what land use is, how land use decisions influence housing and other crises and learn about current tools organizers can leverage within the existing system to address these challenges. The session also aims to spark discussions on the necessity for systemic reform of the land use regime in NYC, equipping organizers and member leaders with the knowledge to foster education and capacity building for their current fights while preparing for future systemic fights that will get us closer to our vision to a more equitable NYC.

Join us to understand the big picture and contribute to meaningful change.

The workshop will be online on Zoom.
