Strategic Data Storytelling

This workshop will show you how to use data storytelling to further your organizing campaigns, especially (but not only!) your external messaging. 

We will cover:

• What is data storytelling, and what makes it effective? 
• What role can data storytelling play in campaigns?
• How can you find relevant data and do some basic analysis?
• How can you use software such as Canva to create compelling visuals?

This workshop is for you if:

• You don’t consider yourself a data or numbers person
• You think data could be useful in your campaigns but don’t know where to start

• You’d like to know how to make charts or infographics to help get your message across
