Underwriting for Affordable Housing

ANHD is very pleased and excited to offer Underwriting for Affordable Housing  a workshop series on understanding HPD/HDC term sheets. This intensive training will offer instruction on financing low-income multi-family rental projects. Over the course of five weeks, participants will learn how to create financial models for affordable housing projects in NYC, with a specific focus on the Extremely Low and Low-Income Affordability Program (ELLA) and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits in an interactive setting that will foster peer-to peer learning and build critical skills needed in the NYC housing development field.

This virtual training series will begin on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 and conclude on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022. Each workshop will run from 10 am to 12 pm.

Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all five trainings. Class size will be limited to 10 participants to ensure deep engagement and interaction with the instructor and participants.
