Lauren Nye

Director of Operations

Lauren Nye (she/her) is ANHD's Director of Operations. She is directly responsible for developing and implementing ANHD’s fundraising strategy, and oversees and supports communications, finance, HR, and IT. She is a native New Yorker, from and currently living in City Island, the Bronx. She’s a firm believer in New York’s public education system, and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from SUNY Albany, and a master’s degree in public administration from CUNY Baruch. She focused her capstone project at CUNY Baruch on the economic and racial desegregation potential for City Island, and is actively working to operationalize it when she’s not helping to strengthen and expand ANHD or sailboat racing.
